Micro Niche Finder 5.6 Changes
These are the primary changes introduced in v. 5.6.x updates…
5.6.14 – July 12, 2011 (Hanging Issue)
· Search algorithm update prevent search “hangs” for single returned result
· Updated Keyword Tool parsing engine
· Error-checking for corrupted data files
5.6.9 – June 10, 2011 (Google Keyword Tool Update)
· Error-checking during search to allow “hung” searches to be canceled
5.6.8 – June 1, 2011
· Removed OCI from Micro Niche Finder
OCI is the “online commercial intent” tool previously operated by Microsoft. This tool has been inoperative for several months; we suspect that Microsoft no longer has intention of supporting it. It was used by a number of keyword software tools, including the moneyword matrix keyword product from Niche Profit Classroom. Eventually, someone will fill this void; meanwhile, using ad cost data as the measure of commercial intent seems like a reasonable substitute.
5.6.7 – May 28, 2011
· Bad Request (Error 400) from Google changes introduced in 5.6.6
This version requires AdWords Login integration in Micro Niche Finder to retrieve Ad Cost information!!!
5.6.4 – May 11, 2011
· Updated parsing engine to properly parse Ad Cost for all search types
· Google has dropped the Ad Cost column from results for searches which are performed when logged-out of AdWords (with captcha).
5.6.2 – April 27, 2011
· Some users were reporting issues with “Micro Niche Finder cannot find the search button on the Keyword Tool Site” Google has been redirectingusers to AdWords Campaign Management instead of the Keyword Tool. This update re-loads the Keyword Tool page when search button cannot be found.
· MOB (measure of backlinks) can be added to queue, even if phrase counts have not yet been retrieved.
5.6.1 – April 24, 2011
· Fatal Error Fixed – Micro Niche Finder crashes when exporting Project results to XLS
· Fatal Error Fixed – Micro Niche Finder crashes if status bar panels can’t be accessed when checking internet connectivity
5.6.0 – April 20, 2011
· Addition of the Majestic SEO API (vs. Yahoo!) for backlink counts
